How the Wish List Works

The Wish List enables Arizona Helping Hands to select from thousands of wholesale products and place them in our "Wish List"– for example school supplies, baby care items, toys, etc – and then enable our supporters to donate these products.

One of the bigger problems facing Arizona Helping Hands today is fundraising amidst the public perception that charities are poorly-run, and that they waste money on overhead, red-tape, outsourced fundraising pros, etc. The Dollardays.com Wish List conveys important positive attributes to counter these perceptions:

The Wish Llist also allows Arizona Helping Hands to focus in on very specific product needs at specific times of the year, for example during a crisis (wildfires) or seasonal needs (Back-to-school).

The Wish List Program has the ability for individuals or small groups of supporters (a Brownie troop, for example) to "sponsor" a specific Wish List, with specific products, for a specific need, and then watch as their combined efforts lead to significant donations of needed goods to Arizona Helping Hands.
